This is a shop-glazed curtain wall that is externally glazed and can either be fully captured 4-sided, SSG, or a combination of both. Equipped with the FortMax™ thermal barrier, this system can accommodate glass thicknesses ranging from 3/8” to 1 ¾”. Assembly U-factors range from 0.10-0.28 (glass dependent).

The exterior pressure plate can be made of either aluminum or fiberglass, depending on the thermal and structural requirements of the building. This system is typically used in highly glazed buildings that are more than 2 stories high. As a horizontal stack is incorporated at each floor to accommodate vertical movement, there is no need to splice the verticals. This results in the frame sizes being the same as the floor-to-floor dimensions. The typical width is usually 5’-0”, and anything wider should be verified by structural engineers.

The back member depth varies between 5” and 6” however, deeper frames can be provided. We also incorporate a 3-way adjustable anchor at each mull at the floor. This anchor provides adjustment for in and out, up and down, and left and right.

This is a field-glazed curtain wall system with an exterior pressure plate and cover as well as our FortMax™ thermal barrier. The system is compatible with glass up to 1 3/4″ thick. Assembly U-factors range from 0.10-0.27 (glass dependent).

Typically, this system is suitable for mid-rise buildings up to 5 stories tall.  The system can be furnished fully captured, 4-sided SSG, or a combination of both. The overall system depth ranges from 6 ½” to 8 ½” with back members of 4”, 5” and 6”. Custom depths are available to meet larger spans and wind loads.

An anchor typically consists of a steel angle on each side of the mullion at each floor with a through bolt connection. Custom steel anchors are provided at the perimeter, along with galvanized back pans and insulation at spandrel locations.

This is a project outvent that can either be a casement (side-hinged) or an awning (top-hinged). It is equipped with our FortMax™ thermal barrier and can accommodate glass thicknesses ranging from 1 inch to 1 ¾ inches.

The Zero Sightline Vent features single-point multi-lock hardware and 4-bar hinges. The maximum vent size should be less than 18 square feet. If you need an exception, engineering approval will be required.

The vent sits inside any of the Zero•Net™ systems, but there may be size limitations due to weight which could prevent the hardware from functioning properly. We are happy to assist in the design phase to ensure all components will work as designed.
