Todd is a 33-year veteran of the glass and glazing industry. After a 15-year career with a Major US curtain wall manufacturer as an Engineering Manager, Todd started a custom curtain wall company called FM Enterprises. After 14 years of successfully running FM, Todd and his business partners sold the company to a major US window manufacturer. Instead of retiring, Todd had decided to pursue is his dream of developing and manufacturing high performance framing systems that would help reduce the energy usage of commercial buildings. Todd has developed numerous products using the patented NET ZERO thermal barrier. The performance of these systems is making an impact on façade performance in North America. As well as being president, Todd also over sees R&D.
Dale Marquardt- Vice President
Dale has 23 years experience in manufacturing operations and 13 yeas as an owner of FM Enterprises. Dale is responsible for plant operation and maintenance such as production scheduling, training employees, and maintenance of equipment.
Renea Frederick- Secretary/Treasurer
Renea started in the industry back in 1996 with husband Todd with FM Enterprises which manufactured aluminum window products. Their business produced Curtain walls, sun shades, and fixed windows for local buildings. Renea has over 23 years experience in office management and was 13 year owner of FM Enterprises. Renea is responsible for all aspects of running the support side of the business such as; working with banks, SBA and local economic groups for loans, setting up and monitoring insurance plans, accounts receivable, accounts payable, human resources, taxes, purchasing, and anything else that comes along with starting a business from scratch. She also owns a real estate holding company. Renea holds a degree in business and economics.
Gary Tongco- National Sales Manager
Having worked in supply side of the commercial glass and glazing since 1988, Gary brings 31 years of experience with products ranging from glass to custom unitized curtain wall to operable windows. A large portion of his career has been spent in the architectural aluminum industry, specifically custom framing systems. Gary works closely with the estimating and engineering department, providing pricing and engineering guidance on projects. Current projects that he is working on are primarily design assist, where he is collaborating with architects, owners and GC ‘s on design and budgets.
Doug Laffin- Sales Manager
Doug has been in the window and curtain wall business for 42 years. During this time he has had many different positions from managing floor product , engineering /estimating teams to Architectural Sales Representative. Doug’s knowledge in the industry is hard to match. Understanding products and how they work and fit in today’s market is where Doug shines. As FreMarq Innovations Sales Rep. he is focused on providing our customers be it Owners, Architects, GC’ or GM’S , and installers the right product, the right performance at the right price.
Jamie Rice-Heckendorf- Quality Manager
Jamie has 13 years of experience working in the building envelope field and a combined 19 years of experience in construction and manufacturing. She started her career in drafting and engineering and has spent the last 8 years working in project estimating, project management and quality. Jamie has a passion for serving others that has translated into a strong desire to provide the best service and the best product possible for our customers. Her background provides a broad range of insight into the projects from start to completion.
Brad Woller- Estimating Manager
Prior to joining the FrēMarq Innovations team Brad was the Estimating Manager for a custom curtain wall company for over 13 years. He has an intricate knowledge of framing systems from punched window to custom unitized curtain walls. He is in charge of estimating department, setting up the estimating standards at his previous company and now at FrēMarq. Before entering the commercial glazing industry, Brad worked in the Residential Window industry for approximately 10 years. Brad has an extensive background in working on design assist projects, providing GMP budgets and design guidance based on budget constraints.
Ken Boilesen- Director of Engineering & Project Management
Ken came to FrēMarq Innovations with over 36 years of experience in the architectural aluminum business. He worked as an engineer (and later an engineering manager) with nationally recognized company his first 26 years in the business and then decided to work in a more entrepreneur environment at FM Enterprises. He was Engineering Manager at FM Enterprises and then moved into the role of General Manager after the company was purchased. Ken has engineered several of the FM unitized products that FrēMarq sells today. Ken is extremely knowledgeable in architectural framing system design, manufacturing, and how it is affected by building tolerances and movement.
Ben Knospe- Director of Research and Development
Ben brings over ten years of research and development experience to the organization. Prior to coming on board at FreMarq Innovations, he contributed to the development and commercialization of non-pneumatic tire technology for Polaris Industries, Inc. and Bridgestone Americas where his responsibilities included: material development, product design, test planning, and project management. Ben is able to draw upon his unique experiences from a niche industry and apply his knowledge to a building envelope system that is leading the way in simplicity and performance in the fenestration world.
Gerald Beyer- Director of Continuous Improvement
Gerald has 30 years of experience leading organizational continuous improvement cycles to increase performance in the field of education, facilitating human relationships to reach consensus, and implementing change. His experience includes coordination of organizational professional development, facilitating new staff orientation, systems development, and creative scheduling. He applies his extensive education, training, and knowledge of ongoing development into FreMarq Innovations in order to advance our company into an enduring and cohesive organization.
Jeff Beyer- Director of Manufacturing
With 30 years of experience in the fenestration industry, Jeff has a unique skill set having worked as an engineering manager and as a Regional Sales Manager. In the window industry, he has worked as an engineering and product manager in both the commercial and residential side of the business. As a Regional Sales Manager he worked with a major hardware supplier, providing components to window and door manufacturers. Jeff heads up the Engineering Department at FrēMarq Innovations and works with the engineering team, sales, estimating and manufacturing.
Paul Heinzen- Project Manager
Paul has been in Project Management for 12 years, and specifically in the custom architectural aluminum industry for 9 years. The focus of his experience has been in dealing with custom curtain-wall products and associated products like zero sightline vents and store front doors. As a project manager, Paul is the interface between the customer and the company. Paul’s involvement in projects starts from the day the contract is issued through installation by the dealer then through close out documents. His attention to detail and experience in working with both internal and external customers help keep projects on time and in budget.
Stephanie Lang- Project Manager
Stephanie joined our team as a project manager in early 2019. She came with over five years previous experience in the curtain wall industry, with both an estimating and project management background. Coupled with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, she has had many years’ experience in production scheduling, employee management and customer service in a variety of settings.
Ben Gille- Engineer
Benjamin brings his 16 years of industry experience into his role as Senior Designer. Throughout his years in the industry he has worked in a variety of areas including estimating, submission engineering, production engineering, preliminary design, sales/marketing, as well as, having held managerial roles. Benjamin also obtained his NRFC A.C.E certificate in 2012. He has accumulated a large repertoire of successful small to large scale projects over his 16 years across the US and Canada.
Bert Beals- Engineer
Bert is a two time graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Architectural Studies and also Computer Aided Design Technology. He graduated with his Bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and Gogebic Community College with CADT. The last five years he has had multiple roles in the industry. He spent a year creating fab drawings for faux landscape framework as a CAD Technician back in 2014. He later helped draft plumbing plan layouts for new and rehabbed projects all over Wisconsin again as a CAD Technician. In 2017 he helped draft and later design all submission, proposal, and fab drawings needed to create complex curtain wall systems which lead him to FreMarq today with similar duties.
Ethan Weber- Estimator
Ethan is the youngest member of our innovative team, bringing an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design. He held a position in Estimating for 3 years and also spent 2 years as a Designer. He brings new ideas to the table and has a passion for going to the next level.
